Avoiding and getting rid of SUNBURNS

Nobody likes a sunburn especially when it peels and makes you look like a spotting animal... Here are some good tips on how to avoid getting a sunburn especially in high altitude areas, as well as; ways to help treat a sunburn and avoid peeling.

Avoidance-

-Were goggles (the reflection of the sun over snow or water will bypass the protection of shades and burn your eyes.)

-suntan lotion (SPF 30 and under on cloudy days, SPF 30 and over on sunny days.)

GET THE CORRECT EQUIPMENT

Everyone knows that you need to be well equiped to survive the cold. Now that we have had an off season you need to make sure that you have what you need to keep warm and alive in the deep snow now that its here. A good list of things you need is as followed.

x2 pairs of water wicking socks 

base layers for your torso and lower body and head if you wear a helmet

First off Everyone knows that Steamboat Springs Colorado is renowned for their champagne powder. After mentioning that I should also mention that this Champagne powder becomes hazardous when the roads start to build up on the dust like crystals... How to EASILY tear your ACL

I am 21 years old and im starting to feel the strain after spending two years in steamboat attending CMC.
